"But the real secret to total gorgeousness is to believe in yourself, have self confidence, and try to be secure in your decisions and thoughts."
-Kirsten Dunst
With my best friend back in town for a week we had to crawl all over Portland including SE Hawthorne: a street famous for its thrift store shopping. My friend suggested we get pedicures and I was in dire need of one so we headed over to Snow Nails and Spa (formerly Euphoria Nails and Spa). Luckily there was only one other person inside when we walked in so we started getting service immediately. I got a deluxe pedicure for $20 (which is not a bad price) and I chose to get a French pedicure which added on another $5. I also was unaware that you're supposed to bring your own nail file to nail salons and paid $1 for a ziplock baggie including a nail file and buffer.
They sat us down in these magical massage chairs and soaked our feet in the warm water. After foot and leg massages, toe clipping, filing, and painting, mine and my friend's toes looked fabulous! Even though the ladies pampering us were speaking to each other in some other language most of the time (Chinese I think), they took little breaks to ask about our day and were really nice and accommodating.
When they make your feet look like this^ I'd call that a success!
